I often teach my students about different cultures, both ancient and modern. To introduce the topic, I have students research different aspects of the culture as a group. They then create a poster and present the information to the class. By the time all of the presentations are finished, the students have a good understanding of the culture and are ready to begin their project.

In this project on Ancient Egypt, students drew various deities, pharoahs, and symbols. They then used color pencils or watercolor paint to complete their works of art. The students loved this project and the results were amazing!
